About
Supplements and medicines mix. They are rarely looked at together.
Many people who take a prescription also take something from a health-food shelf. Intaq exists to check the two together for one person at a time, in plain words, and to be honest when the evidence runs out.
What we built
Intaq works from what you tell it: what you take and what you live with. It checks the supplements you list against your medicines, your conditions and each other, then tells you plainly what it found, so you can take it to your doctor or pharmacist. It reads a label photo, a plate photo or a spoken question, keeps a food diary, shows your doses each day, and covers a household of up to four adults with private records for each.
Most cautions trace back to published research. Some are precautions for times when human safety data are missing, such as in pregnancy, and they say so. No doctor, pharmacist or other clinician has reviewed them. When we have nothing on a combination, Intaq says it does not know. That does not mean it is safe. Intaq never diagnoses, treats or prescribes; it gives you and your clinician a clear picture to decide from.
How we work
- No advertising, and your data is never sold. The free plan is paid for by the paid plans, not by you being the product.
- Your records are yours. Download your records as a file or delete the account, from inside the app, at any time. Payments run through Stripe, are collected for Intaq by Digitoria Media Limited, and we never see your card number.
- Honest about limits. A weak signal is a caution, not a ban, and an unknown is called an unknown.
- Built for a household, not just a user. Each adult chooses what to share; children's food is covered and children's supplements are left to their clinician.
Who we are
Intaq is built and operated by Intaq Health Inc., a company in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. We follow Canadian privacy law. Other laws may also apply where you live. The privacy policy lists the providers that handle your personal information and what each one receives.
