Intaq exists because supplements, medicines and health conditions interact, and most people have no way to check. This page says exactly what the app checks, what it refuses to do, and what happens to your information.
What Intaq checks
Against your conditions
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, age, allergies, an upcoming operation and the conditions you tell us about each carry their own rules.
Against each other
Supplements that compete for absorption, that add up to too much of one nutrient, or that should be taken apart are flagged with the timing to use.
Against upper limits
Doses are compared with published upper levels for your age and sex, and the app says when a total across products is the problem.
Your food, too
Meals you log are screened the same way, so a grapefruit or a high-tyramine dinner is caught alongside a capsule.
Side effects you report
Tell the app what you felt and it looks for the product most likely responsible and suggests a lower dose or a pause.
What Intaq never does
- It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe. It tells you what the evidence says about the things you take, in plain words, so you can decide with your clinician.
- It does not invent a rule. When no cited evidence exists for a combination, the app says it does not know rather than guessing.
- It does not hide behind numbers. Every verdict comes with the reason and the action, not a score you have to interpret.
- It does not sell your data, show advertising, or run third-party analytics on this site.
Where the evidence comes from
Each rule in Intaq is a written row with its source, almost always a PubMed identifier, and a severity band chosen by a reviewer. Rows are checked for their citations before they are allowed into the product, and a row without one is not used. We also watch regulatory advisories from public sources and review what changes.
Evidence has limits. Many interactions are known from single case reports or small studies. The app labels how strong the evidence is, and a weak signal is presented as a caution, not a ban.
Your information
Intaq stores what you give it: your supplements, medicines, conditions, meals and the notes you write. That information is used to run the checks for you and for nothing else. It is held in a managed database with row-level access rules, so one person's records are never readable by another account. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
You can export or delete your account from the app. The privacy policy is the binding statement; this page is the short version.
Security
Traffic is encrypted, the site and the app send strict browser security headers, the programming interface is not publicly documented, and access to the database goes through the application only. We run security reviews before each release step and fix what they find. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please tell us through the contact page; the machine-readable version of this offer is at /.well-known/security.txt.
For practitioners and brands
Clinics can screen a patient's list without storing anything that identifies the patient, and brands can check a formulation against the same rules a consumer sees. Both run under a written agreement; ask through the contact page.
